Across the exhibition, moments are softened and distilled through faded colour, gentle marks, light and shadow, creating a sense of familiarity and nostalgia. Lauren’s landscapes and native flora of the North West are rendered in dusty, warm tones, evoking the warmth associated with place; Yasmin’s abstract works emerge through delicate washes, subtle colours and small, intimate details; while Eleisha’s oil paintings capture the fleeting qualities of light and shadow with a timeless, classical sensibility.
