About the artist:

Tania has always felt an emotional connection to abstract art through colour, movement and energy and so has very naturally and instinctively developed her passion for this genre. Her artwork is inspired by feminine energy, nature and the things she loves. Each piece is unique and almost impossible to reproduce. Her best work happens when she stops thinking, relaxes and goes for it, then slowly feels her way back into the painting. 

She grew up in a family with a cattle farm on a beautiful property in the South West surrounded by bush and framed by the river. This series is full of inspiration from some of the beautiful places and moments she has experienced in her life there. Like painting, being on the farm helps her find balance and peace in her life.

Tania has been painting for 20 years and has over time developed and refined technical skills under the tutelage of multiple esteemed mentors at Claremont School of Arts, Fremantle Arts Centre and Tresillian Arts Centre. She has exhibited in multiple exhibitions in WA and sells her work privately and through local retail.
