Yallingup Beach is a true gem of the southwest, and this track leads you gently towards its turquoise-blue waters. As you pass through the shifting shadows of the melaleuca trees, breathing in the salt air and feeling the warm summer breeze against your skin, the anticipation of the crisp, cool ocean begins to settle over you. With every step, you feel calmer, your breathing regulates, as the rhythm of the coast draws you in.

About the artist

Jill Bryant has been creating and exhibiting artworks for more than 20 years, with her work collected throughout Australia. Over the past seven years, she has specialised in loose, expressive watercolours inspired by the coastal landscapes and waterways of the places she has called home. Her paintings are deeply rooted in a fascination with light and its ever-changing interplay within the natural environment. Through luminous washes and atmospheric detail, Jill seeks to capture the warmth, tranquillity, and quiet beauty of these landscapes, inviting the viewer to experience a sense of calm and connection within each piece.
