Deidre Bruhn is a Western Australian born intuitive mixed media artist residing in the southwest of Western Australia. Her love of drawing and painting commenced from early life drawing classes which ignited her interest, passion, and the spontaneous nature of working in this way and capturing the raw energy of the model.

Her mixed media art works are recognised for their intriguing personalities, faces and bodies on canvas, wood panels, and paper – each possessing a strong attitude, a captivating look, an intriguing story….

Deidre is inspired by he materiality of collage, and combining acrylic paint with all types of stencils, pencils, crayons, spray paint, handmade and collected collage materials and fabric scraps.
