Vania's works are emotional and psychological places, beautiful internal landscapes of her surrounds.

"My work speaks of things that are timeless, I feel that for most of us our oceans, skies and landscapes represent something that is comforting and timeless."

Her current series of work explores our relationship to a sense of place, revealing an interest in how it is perceived and remembered through tone and hue. It renders the ordinary, the overlooked, the neglected and sometimes forgotten beauty within our world of images that surround us each day.

Vania is a Perth based, Australian artist with a background in design and scenic art. She is drawn to landscapes with distinct light and texture, the movement of all weather conditions and how that plays on our surroundings. Her works are emotional and psychological places, beautiful internal landscapes of her surrounds.

This recent series of artworks pay tribute to our striking weather conditions, from dawn to dusk and the strong horizons that define our rural areas.
