About the artist

Annabelle is an abstract landscape artist, deeply captivated by the rugged beauty of Western Australia, with its vast rural expanses and dramatic coastlines. The landscapes that surround her —both near her home in Perth and in the Mid West where time is spent —serve as my primary source of  inspiration.  But rather than capturing these places in a traditional sense, Annabelle immerses herself in their dynamic essence. 

‘I see the colours in nature intensely, often noticing unexpected hues and contrasts that speak to me in ways beyond the ordinary. My work is grounded in an abstract expressionist style, where I seek to evoke not just the physical aspects of the landscape but the emotions and energy that emanate from it.’
